Spring 2025 Itinerary

Thursday, March 13 – Trinity Lutheran Church, Boone, Iowa – 7 p.m. hymn festival (with the Trinity School choir)

Friday, March 14 – St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Barrington, Illinois – 7 p.m. hymn festival

Sunday, March 16 – Trinity Lutheran Church, Davenport, Iowa – 10:45 a.m. worship service

 

Youth Music Tour (YMT) is St. John’s annual hymn festival tour involving 7th-12th grade musicians of our church and school. We pack up our voices and instruments, hop on a charter bus, and visit churches throughout the upper midwest each spring. Previous tours have taken us to Minneapolis (2011), Chicago (2012), St. Louis (2013), Denver (2014 and 2022), southeast Missouri (2015 and 2023), Dallas (2016), Black Hills (2016), Minnesota/Wisconsin (2017), Iowa/Illinois/Missouri (2018), Colorado/New Mexico (2019), Milwaukee (2021). Youth musicians from Heartland Lutheran High School (Grand Island) and Trinity Academy (Seward) have also participated along with the St. John students.
